Stories from the next chapter
What happens after life breaks the script. Midlife, relationships, your body, money, clarity, starting again. Words that make sense of the confusing bits.
Honest writing about rebuilding in midlife
Chapter & Change is a journal for women working out what comes next after divorce, an abusive relationship, menopause, financial upheaval or any other change that makes the old version of life stop fitting. The stories here combine personal experience with practical lessons about rebuilding confidence, health, strength, independence and a steadier sense of self.
You will find writing about GLP-1 weight loss, strength training after 50, food and movement, difficult relationships, money, identity and starting again. The aim is not to offer a perfect transformation story. It is to talk honestly about the confusing middle: the point where you understand what happened but are still learning how to build differently.
Start with whichever subject feels most useful today. Each article is written to stand alone, and related posts will help you follow a topic further. Personal experiences are shared for information and reflection rather than as medical, legal or financial advice.
